NMR Introduces Local High School Students to Architecture

If you’ve ever wondered if career days really make a difference for students, the answer is YES! After career day presentations, NMR often will hear from students who weren’t previously interested in STEM fields who want to learn more about the industry, apply for an internship or have decided that they would like to become an architect or structural engineer. The U-Prep High School Career Day is no exception.

On Monday, February 26th NMR Architect Melissa Freilich attended a Career Day at U-Prep High School in Redding, California. Melissa shared about architecture, answered questions and described the challenges and joys of the profession, showcased NMR’s work and described her personal career journey.

NMR is proud to partner with U-Prep High School in their efforts to introduce students to STEM fields like architecture.
