If you’ve ever wondered if STEM Career Days really make a difference for students, the answer is YES! After career day presentations, NMR frequently will hear from students who weren’t previously interested in STEM fields who want to learn more about the industry or apply for an internship to see if architecture is a good fit for them.
On Tuesday, March 7th NMR Project Representatives Todd Junker and Lauren Malbrough attended the STEM career day at Analy High School in Sebastopol. Todd and Lauren informed students about architecture and engineering as STEM fields, described challenges and joys of the professions, showcased NMR’s work and described their personal, career journeys.
NMR is proud to partner with Analy High School in their efforts to introduce students to STEM career opportunities.
