NMR Invests in Future Redding Leaders at KinderCollege

On May 8, 2015, Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto Architect Melissa Freilich taught Redding kindergarteners at KinderCollege Day about career options in the field of architecture.  Melissa shared the importance of building orientation and location, and taught about the functionality of building components like walls, windows, shade devices and solar panels. KinderCollege Day in Redding, CA aims to introduce young students and their parents to a college environment, career options and the concept of higher education.

Peanuts, Popcorn and Candy Apples

                    In 1997, construction of NMR’s design of Chico State Nettleton Stadium was completed. This summer, calls for peanuts, popcorn and candy apples will return to the NMR designed stadium along with the professional, independent baseball team, Chico Heat. NMR Helps Chico Air Museum Take Flight

NMR is proud to support local non-profit, Chico Air Museum through the pro bono design of a stunning, new museum entrance and the Walk of Honor Park. NMR Attends VA-DOD Outpatient Clinic Dedication Ceremony

On Friday, October 14th NMR joined Otto Construction, The Hamstra Group, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense in celebrating the nearly complete Major General William H. NMR Partners with Chico State to Unveil Terminal Design

On Friday, October 28th NMR Principal Architects David Rogers and Les Melburg unveiled the proposed redesign for the Chico Municipal Airport terminal at the airport. The event attracted almost 200 people, and truly is an excellent example of a public-private partnership. On Saturday, December 10th four Shasta High School VEX Robotics teams competed against 38 other Bay Area teams at the VEX robotics competition at Vanden High School in Fairfield, CA. The Shasta High team took 2nd place out of forty-two teams! Chico ER Features NMR’s Anniversary

On Saturday, January 28th Chico ER featured NMR’s 50th anniversary and the Chico office’s 30th anniversary. “Longtime Chico firm Nichols Melburg and Rosetto is proving its longevity. NMR Design Featured on ABC’s Modern Family

On March 15th, ABC aired Season 8, episode 17 of Modern Family, titled “Pig Moon Rising.” The episode featured NMR’s design of the Shasta County Administration Building in downtown Redding, CA. Completed in 2005, the Shasta County Administration project was completed under budget, and has received several design awards, including “Best Civic Project” in 2005 by California Construction Magazine, and the 2005 Woodwork Institute Award for design excellence. NMR Architects Selected to Design VA Chico Outpatient Clinic

In early 2017, NMR Architects was selected to design a 53,000 square foot Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Outpatient Clinic in Chico, CA. The new clinic will double the size of the existing clinic on Cohasset Road which it will replace. The Chico VA Clinic project was awarded to a development team consisting of NMR and the Hamstra Group of Wheatfield Indiana after a national design competition.
