VA/DA Monterey Webcam

Marina, California – Residents and stakeholders can watch the construction progress of the new VA/DA Health Care Center via an onsite webcam. Located at the former Fort Ord in Marina, the webcam records the ongoing progress of construction every 15 minutes, http://webcampub.multivista.com. Shasta County Probation Department Ribbon Cutting

On December 15th, NMR Principal Kyle Matti and Project Representative Kip Hall attended the Shasta County Probation Office ribbon cutting in celebration of the County’s relocation of the Probation Department offices. On May 8, 2015, Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto Architect Melissa Freilich taught Redding kindergarteners at KinderCollege Day about career options in the field of architecture.  Melissa shared the importance of building orientation and location, and taught about the functionality of building components like walls, windows, shade devices and solar panels. Congratulations to Manzanita Elementary Odyssey of the Mind competitors on winning 1st place in the North State Region. The Odyssey of the Mind team competed at the state tournament at UC Riverside on Saturday, April 2nd. The competition included over 200 teams divided into three age specific divisions. NMR Designs Chico Municipal Airport Expansion

On Tuesday, July 26th JetChico presented NMR’s conceptual terminal expansion design for the Chico Municipal Airport Terminal to the Airport Commission for consideration. 2016 California Building Code Changes For Healthcare Facilities

Every 18 months, the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) receives code change proposals from multiple state agencies responsible for recommending changes to the International Building Code (IBC) model code. The amendments to the 2015 IBC model code made by the CBSC are adopted as the 2016 California Building Code (CBC), and take effect January 1st, 2017. In early 2017, NMR Architects was selected to design a 53,000 square foot Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Outpatient Clinic in Chico, CA. The new clinic will double the size of the existing clinic on Cohasset Road which it will replace.
