On Friday, October 28th North State S.T.E.M. hosted the 3rd annual S.T.E.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Career Fair, Ignite Opportunity. Over 1,000 students from North State high schools attended the fair to learn more about S.T.E.M. careers, and to meet over 60 business professionals working in S.T.E.M. fields. NMR has created a proposed design for a section of Redding riverfront property on Park Marina Drive. Two of Redding’s own Shasta High School Robotics VEX teams competed against top robotics teams in the state, last weekend at the VEX State Championships in San Jose. The Shasta High teams learned a lot about robotics, and are excited to implement new ideas and improvements next year. NMR is proud to sponsor the Shasta High School Vex Robotics Club and their endeavors to advance STEM education and robotics in the North State. Keep up the great work!
