NMR’s civic studio is honored to collaborate with Shasta County to design and construct an Adult Rehabilitation Center that provides a safe and secure environment to advance the rehabilitation of adult offenders. The $22,500,000 project is approaching the construction documents phase.

Once constructed, the new Shasta County Adult Rehabilitation Center will provide a medium security facility on the existing Sheriff’s honor farm between Veterans Lane, Breslauer Way and Radio Lane in Redding. The new 30,000 sq. ft. facility consists of a secure area for jailed inmates and a non-secure area for out-of-custody offenders.

In addition to a lobby the facility will include bed space, classrooms, administration and support staff areas, an inmate staffed kitchen, laundry and interview rooms. See the latest article about the project in the Record Searchlight.
