vex-team-fairfield-competitionOn Saturday, December 10th four Shasta High School VEX Robotics teams competed against 38 other Bay Area teams at the VEX robotics competition at Vanden High School in Fairfield, CA.

The Shasta High team took 2nd place out of forty-two teams! Three of the four Shasta High teams placed in the top eight, and one of the teams won the “Innovate Award” for the most innovative robot design.

For years the Shasta High School VEX Robotics Club, under the leadership of Brian Grigsby, has been introducing high school students to science, technology, engineering and math concepts through robotics.
