On Wednesday, June 13th NMR Architect Mel Freilich and Project Technician Marissa Olsen spoke to Upward Bound Summer Program high school students about how their college education prepared them for a career in the field of architecture.
This summer Simpson University oversaw teams that help high school students prepare for post-secondary education and their potential career. Upward Bound teams from Siskiyou and Shasta County partnered with a team from U.C. Davis to create a one week college experience boot camp experience to demonstrate how a college education benefits your career.
NMR is proud to partner with local education organizations that inform and prepare students for careers in architecture.
