The B20 building, starting construction in September 2021, is located adjacent to Chico, California’s burgeoning new “Merriam Park” district. It will be three stories, about 70,000 sq. ft., and include the following:
• 60 units of low-income senior one and two-bedroom apartments
• Community space and administrative offices for the housing
• Outdoor living space for residents, including a patio, Bocce court, dog park and a raised planter vegetable garden
• 10,000 sq. ft. of commercial space for offices and/or retail, and a corner restaurant located at the intersection of Bruce Road and E. 20th Street, with an outdoor dining veranda.
The project is in a walkable neighborhood with easy access to public transportation, healthcare services, shopping and parks.
