The Science and Humanities buildings includes the construction of two new facilities at the College of the Redwoods. Each two-story building was constructed of high steel framing with metal roofing, vertical board-on-board siding and stone wainscoting. The buildings are strategically situated to comply with tight site constraints due to the proximity of existing buildings and both seismic and utility easements. The buildings contain a physics lab, geology lab, three lecture halls, five computer labs, three biology labs, two chemistry labs and fourteen general classrooms. The site work included a new courtyard for better circulation and path of travel.
