This project involved the construction of two new buildings for Strong Family Health Center on property adjacent to Highway 299 which serves as the primary thoroughfare for the Alturas area. One building was developed to be the Youth Center and contained an office, lounge area, kitchen and storage spaces. The other building is the Fitness Center and consisted of an open fitness room, restrooms, showers, changing areas and support spaces. Site work included expanding the existing parking lot, landscape improvements, a new outdoor basketball court between the new buildings and screening for new propane fuel tanks.
