NMR Architects competed successfully against numerous prominent California architectural firms to win the prized commission for the new Temecula Civic Center, located in Temecula (Riverside County), California. With a total budget of $75 million, this high-profile project is envisioned by the City’s leaders to be the prime catalyst for their ambitious Old Town redevelopment goals. NMR provided comprehensive services including site analysis, site and campus master planning, programming, architectural design, interior design, and full construction administration. In addition, NMR led a multi-disciplinary sub-consultant team including geo-technical, civil, landscape, structural, M/E/P, sustainability/LEED, security, acoustical/audiovisual, cost estimating, and structured parking. The entire project emphasizes sustainability, ranging from extensive use of regional materials to a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) solar array atop the Parking Structure that will meet up to 90% of the structure’s power requirements. The entire project has received LEED Gold certification.
