Project Description

The Happy Valley Fire Protection District is a mostly volunteer organization with 2 stations and 45 volunteers and staff. The proposed Station 3 would provide better coverage for the district by locating a third station on the Northeast portion of the district. The project will be constructed in phases, starting with a 3 apparatus bay structure and when funding allows additional apparatus bays and living quarters will be added to the building. The building is to be constructed of durable materials to reduce maintenance costs and create a building that the community will be proud of. The site is designed to accommodate engines driving through the facility as well as parking areas for staff and visitors enabling the fire station to be used for community events.
