Project Description

The two-story classroom facility at Pleasant Valley High School contains 24 state-of-the-art teaching rooms, including two “Life Skills” classrooms specifically configured for developmentally disabled students. The facility was designed to meet the latest requirements of the “Collaborative for High Performance Schools” (CHPS) which is a green building rating program especially designed for K-12 schools. In addition to the 24 indoor classrooms, the facility features a 5,000 square foot covered outdoor teaching amphitheater, teacher work rooms, smart boards and a fully automated window shading system.
