NMR is experienced in sustainable design, with several LEED Accredited Professionals currently working on LEED projects for governmental, healthcare, institutional and commercial projects. As members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), our design team is committed to creating buildings that are energy efficient and provide a healthy, productive environment.
NMR is committed to sustainable design principles. As a core value, we believe that through sustainable design we can create better futures for our communities and find ways to reduce our impact on the planet. Even if it is decided not to seek LEED or Green Globes Certification, we will identify opportunities for the Owner to consider that integrates sustainable design concepts and materials where the budget allows promoting energy efficiency and a light impact on the environment. NMR, which was one of the first firms in the North State to join the USGBC, has provided architectural services for many LEED, Net Zero and other sustainable design projects.
NMR has in-house Sustainable Design Specialists who are actively involved with our projects from start to finish, contributing their environmental design knowledge to maximize sustainable design possibilities within our projects. These individuals lead the LEED registration and certification documents throughout the project to ensure that our projects continue to meet the established sustainable goals.
